In 2022, the Blues Foundation is celebrating Women in Music. What a great way to honor the many voices that did not always get equal attention by the music industry. The Kansas City Blues Society is doing our part by saluting some of our best women voices in Kansas City, on Saturday, October 15, 7:00 p.m., at BB’s Lawnside BBQ, 1205 E. 85th Street, Kansas City, MO. We’ve got the soulful powerhouse vocals of CC and the Remedy and the hard-hitting blues rock of Katy Guillen and The Drive. Some of their guests will be Bea Gray, Kat Bond, Jessica Grey, and others.
