If it’s April, it must be time for the most anticipated event of the year. It’s the annual sale of cruise raffle tickets to the Legendary Rhythm and Blues Cruise (LRBC). LRBC #40 sets sail from Ft. Lauderdale, FL to the Grand Cayman, Roatan, Honduras, and Costa Maya, Mexico, from January 28-February 4, 2024. It always has the biggest names in blues music and this one is no exception. Taj Mahal, Kenny Wayne Shepherd, Tommy Castro & the Painkillers, Ana Popovic, Danielle Nicole band, Mr. Sipp, Phantom Blues band, Jason Ricci and the Bad Kind, Bette Smith Sextext, Mike Welch band, Dawn Tyler Watson, Dave Gross & Pat Harrington, Super Chikan & Terry Harmonica Bean, Mitch Woods, Eden Brent, Daryl Davis, Billy Branch, Keb’ MO Band, Christone Kingfish Ingram, Shemekia Copeland, Victor Wainwright & the Train, Eric Gales, Albert Cummings, Toronzo Cannon, Rev. Peyton’s Big Damn Band, John Primer band, Dwayne Dopsie & the Zydeco Hellraisers, King Solomon Hicks, Frank Sultana, 2023 IBC solo winner, Kelley Hunt, Deanna Bogart, with more guests to be announced later.
Cruise raffle tickets are $20 and only 500 tickets are printed. The winning ticket is drawn on Thanksgiving Day at the Thanksgiving Day Breakfast dance. The winner receives a cabin for 2 and a lifetime of fabulous experiences and memories. The winning ticket only includes the cabin for 2; all travel costs to and from Ft. Lauderdale are the responsibility of the winner.
