Annual Meeting – Elect New Board Members

The Kansas City Blues Society (KCBS) will hold its annual membership meeting to new Board of Directors (BOD) on Wednesday, January 10, 2024, at the Hideout Bar and Grill, 6948 N. Oak Trafficway, Gladstone, MO.

Voting rights to elect Directors are extended to members who have joined the KCBS 30 days before the election and are not delinquent on their dues. The Board of Directors consist of 11 elected members. Due to rotating terms and appointed directors during the year, there are currently six (6) open positions. Absentee and proxy voting will not be allowed.

There are 5 open slots, so unless 6 or more people apply, voting will be unnecessary because anything less than 5 is fewer than the number of open positions. Those people applying would automatically become part of the BOD.
