Danny Cox has had a long and successful music career. That’s the view looking back, but have you heard his new single? I’m inclined to advise that you should and leave it at that. I don’t want to over use a bunch of adjectives, but that’s exactly what I would do. I don’t want to spoil it by telling you how skillfully Danny’s son Joseph sings the vocals, so I won’t. I’m not gonna mention the way the song slowly builds so you can discover that on your own. Have any of you folks heard Danny Cox’s song Black Lives? You should. Not because he’s a KC legend, but because it delivers. Relevant at 79, who can touch that?
