Review by Bob Sutcliffe, Knuckleheads Saloon staff

Kelsey Miles is a new musician to the Kansas City music scene, having recently relocated to Kansas City from Wisconsin. She just released her new album, “I AM” and it’s a very good look into the passion and soul of this very talented lady. Whatever mood you are in or feelings you are having, there is a song on the cd to go along. From her soul-baring opening track “Beautiful Mistake” to the great horns on the closing track “The Lighthouse,” she will take you on a musical journey that’s well worth the ticket. This cd comes in a very special expanded edition that gives you yearlong direct contact with the artist.

Kelsey was introduced to the Kansas City music scene by Coyote Bill and she regularly drops in to perform at his Wednesday night jam at Libations & Co., Club 1909, Lee’s Summit, MO. Kelsey lent her killer voice to the KCBS’ 2023 Women in Blues show at BB’s Lawnside BBQ in September, where she wowed everyone. She’s a multi-talented musician who is also skilled on the harmonica. We see great things in her future and highly suggest you catch one of her performances.
