Every year, blues music lovers gather in Clarksdale, MS, to celebrate the Mississippi Delta’s amazing creative communities. This is the amazing “half blues” festival, half small-town fair and half “all about the Delta” event that is a blues lovers’ dream. It’s like no other blues event with performances in real-deal juke joints, arts & crafts, music workshops, southern food, panel discussions and much more. It’s one of the biggest blues and business weeks of the year. It gets attendees from all 50 states, most MS counties, and over two dozen countries. If you’ve never attended, please put it on your bucket list to satisfy the blues lover in you.
The actual Juke Joint Festival is Saturday April 12, but the music starts Thursday, April 10 and concludes Sunday, April 13.
