35th Annual Paola Roots Festival

Kansas City Blues Society supports the Paola Roots Festival for bringing quality music to our region year after year. And the Festival welcomes KCBS with a great space to sell our merchandise, listen to the music, and chat with members who walk by during the event. Let us know if you want to
volunteer at our booth—you can join us for an hour or the whole day!

The Roots Festival is a 2-day family friendly event held in the beautiful downtown Paola, KS Park Square. We are pleased to have provided a fun and entertaining event for our community over the years! Last year’s festival highlights include a wide variety of amazing live music featuring National, Regional and Local Artist’s. Other great festival attractions include arts & crafts, food vendors, The East Central State BBQ Championship Cook-off and for our younger festival goers, great games and fun rides!

Admission Price: $20 Friday, $25 Saturday, Advance 2 Day Pass $40 (Save $5.00!). Kids 12 and under get in free. Rain or shine!

Online Tickets available beginning May 15th: BUY TICKETS AT THIS LINK – Tickets also available at the gate. The Advance 2 Day Pass will be available at these local Banks beginning Aug 1st thru Aug 23th: First Option Bank, Great Southern Bank, Security Bank of KC. and First Security Bank.

What to bring: Your Lawn Chair. Coolers are allowed for food & drink, including alcohol. No glass please. Must be 21 to consume alcohol.

What’s not allowed: No weapons, No pets, No bicycles, No skateboards.
