KCBS Monthly Meeting/Jam featuring The TSS Blues Band

In September, we’re looking forward to checking out a band we’ve never seen before – the TSS Blues Band. TSS stands for Tut & Soul Sensations. The band was started in 1973 by 5 brothers with the last name of Hardy. Some of the brothers have currently been replaced with other members not named Hardy. The TSS band has previously worked with the late Marva Whitney and Linda Shell, formerly of Kansas City, now living near Atlanta.

We’ll be meeting at Mr. Bigg’s Place, which is a funky old-school lounge with an old-school feel. This location helps us bring Blues music to all corners of the Kansas City metropolitan area. There will be food and drink specials.

The meeting starts at 6:45; the music starts at 7:00 p.m. It’s always a jam, so fellow musicians are invited to bring your instrument and come out to jam. See you there!
