Time to Step up! We Need You!
The Kansas City Blues Society (KCBS) will hold its annual membership meeting to elect Board of Directors (BOD) on Wednesday, January 8, 2025, at Score Sports Bar & Grill, 9100 E 35th St. S, Independence, MO 64052.
Voting rights to elect Directors are extended to members who have joined the KCBS 30 days before the election and are not delinquent on their dues. The Board of Directors consist of 11 elected members. Due to rotating terms and appointed directors during the year, there are currently five (5) open positions. Absentee and proxy voting will not be allowed.
Since there are 5 open slots, unless 6 or more people apply, voting will be unnecessary because anything less than 5 is fewer than the number of open positions. Those people applying would automatically become part of the BOD.
