The Kansas City Blues Society will thank their members and volunteers with an Appreciation Party at BB’s Lawnside BBQ on Saturday, October 21, 2023, from 2 to 5 PM. Diane “Mama” Ray will be hosting her famous blues/jazz Jam that afternoon. BB’s is catering the event with their famous BBQ with sides and a drink ticket for each member/volunteer. The Board of Directors will be there to show their appreciation for your participation and support during the year, answer questions, and listen to your input.
Guests must have a current valid membership to participate. Non-member guests of our members are welcome to participate in the food for a $10 donation at the door. And, that afternoon only, we will take that same $10 off a Single or Couple Two-Year Membership purchased at the event. We have reserved the deck for our event.
BB’s is located at 1205 East 85th Street in Kansas City, MO. Or as Lindsay puts it, “To find it, turn right on 85th, then go south about 60 years.” Please come and join us. Bring a non-member friend for a $10 membership discount. Hope to see you there!
