We just completed another very successful MSMF golf tournament benefit. The Michael Shannon Musician’s Fund was created by Lindsay and the late Jo Shannon to provide financial assistance to blues musicians and industry professionals experiencing financial difficulties due to medical issues. This golf tournament benefit is the only fundraiser for the MSMF.
Thanks to Shamrock Golf Club in Lee’s Summit, MO, and their employees for their first time hosting this event. It was great to work with them at their beautiful golf club. We send gratitude to the many golfers who were eager to participate to help raise money for this important fund. Thanks to the supporters who purchased golf holes, which is always an important part of raising funds, and to the many merchants/businesses/supporters who stepped up and donated money, gifts, and swag to provide prizes for the golfers.
